Initially the hospital was conceived as 500 bedded hospital for 100 admissions of medical students annually.
Phase I started in
April 2000 considering all the requirement of MCI norms for a teaching hospital. Dental college and hospital, hostels, staff quarters,
mortuary, incinerator, fully furnished blood
bank and other buildings in campus have been
completed and are fully operational. The project also includes a 1000 pax. capacity auditorium.
